Embracing Tradition #Red Saree

Photographer: Dhrumil Virvadiya

1. What driving force motivates you as an artist and keeps you going?

Just an itch of my life and getting published in big magazines like Mob is what makes me feel about continuing with my intuition of an artist.

2. Collaboration can be important for artists. Tell us about your team and how they contribute to your work.

My Collaboration team is very important to me. I would say one of the reasons I kept flourishing in every picture is due to the support of my team. Thank you for supporting me every time Mehak Sharma (makeup artist ) and it was great working with Dhrumil Virvadiya.

3. Can you tell us about your creative process, from the initial idea to the final result?

The dress I wore is called Saree which is very popular in Indian Culture. I always wanted to somehow include my Indian culture in my photos and my team played a very important role to make that come true.

4. What challenges have you faced in your career so far, and how have you overcome them?

Well I live in a small city which has very less opportunities for my career. Getting published in the magazine is what makes me keep going and never giving up.

5. What led you to choose Mob, and what are your career aspirations in this field?

I got published in Mob for the first time around two years back and after that people really started knowing me and I got more opportunities for work. I chose Mob as I feel this can help me make my dream come true.
