1. What driving force motivates you as an artist and keeps you going?

Creating and connecting with others through storytelling, that is what motivates me as an artist to keep showing up to look for inspiration in my life, nature, and in my inner circle of friends & family.

2. Collaboration can be important for artists. Tell us about your team and how they contribute to your work.

I believe collaboration is EVERYTHING! Having a great team and communicating, sharing and creating together is a key to success in my opinion. Everyone’s input is important, and everyone can add value to the end result. My team helps me develop my ideas and take them to the next level.

3. Can you tell us about your creative process, from the initial idea to the final result?

I always take inspiration from personal experiences, beliefs, films, ideologies and things that are going on in the world to deliver a message and connecting with others. After I get an idea, I draw what comes to mind and make a moodboard with elements, clothing, colors and places/locations; this helps me to create a clear path for me and my team to get to the final result.

4. What challenges have you faced in your career so far, and how have you overcome them?

My biggest challenge has been the impostor syndrome and comparing myself to others, not trusting myself and my talent. I’ve learnt that if I don’t push myself and get out of my comfort zone, I will always be in the same place and won’t grow, and most importantly, if you believe in yourself and trust yourself, everyone else will.

5. What led you to choose Mob, and what are your career aspirations in this field?

I’ve always loved the design and content curation of Mob, but mostly I chose Mob because of their ideology that collaboration is greater than competition; I believe there’s space and an audience for everyone and collaboration can only take all of us further. One of my career aspirations is being able to create without limits and get people to see and connect with my work.
