EPIPHANY
Wardrobe Stylist/Creative Director/Director/Stylist: Luis David Llomuri
1. What significant life experiences or events have influenced and shaped your artistic vision?
Kabir Animashaun:
Definitely, my life experience and journey so far have greatly influenced me, but also all the art I have consumed since I can remember has been a major influence on my artistic vision. I am a lover of great art and artists across all mediums painting, music, photography, film, and more. These are the things that shape my artistic perspective.
Luis David Llomuri:
Moving to New York City and leaving my comfort zone in Mexico has brought countless lessons, both personally and professionally. It taught me the true meaning of resilience and the beauty of transforming emotions through art. Every project I create carries fragments of my own story moments, feelings, and reflections that have shaped who I am. Art has become my language, the way I express what words cannot.
2. Collaboration often sparks fresh creativity. Can you share an example of a collaboration that led to an unexpected and exciting artistic outcome?
Kabir Animashaun:
Yes, collaborations often lead to extraordinary results. There have been numerous occasions where working together has produced incredible outcomes. Epiphany is a great example: collaborating with Luis on this project on the last day of last year resulted in an amazing body of work. The same goes for our model, Sandra. Sandra is a frequent collaborator of mine; together, we have created several impactful pieces, like Divine Beings. I always encourage creatives to collaborate it’s an incredible way to build your network, but it’s also very important to collaborate wisely.
Luis David Llomuri:
Without a doubt, closing last year with the Epiphany editorial alongside Kabir was like placing the cherry on top. It was the realization of the dreams of that child who grew up watching movies and series filmed in New York and who one day went from imagining that city to directing and orchestrating his own reality there. That project represented a deep connection between who I was, what I dreamed, and who I am today.
3. Walk us through a specific project that challenged your creative boundaries. How did you approach it, and what did you learn from the experience?
Kabir Animashaun:
I would say my project titled Divine Beings. It challenged my creative boundaries because, at first, I didn’t know how to bring my vision to life, there were no visual references, and I faced multiple rejections. I had to conduct at least three test shoots to ensure everything was perfect before the final shoot. I learned that talent and vision come directly from Allah, and I must use them wisely. I also learned that there is absolutely nothing I cannot create. I felt powerful.
Luis David Llomuri:
I believe one of the projects that has marked me the most and filled me with learning was directing Paris Fashion Week. At that time, I was still learning English and had to adapt to a third language simultaneously. Everything seemed like an enormous challenge, but it was precisely in that difficulty where I discovered my true strength.
Creating an impactful project despite all the adversities reminded me that limits only exist if we let fear define them. That experience taught me that art transcends languages and that passion always finds its own voice.
4. In the ever-evolving art world, what do you believe sets your work apart and makes it unique or groundbreaking?
Kabir Animashaun:
I believe what makes my work unique is the meaning and story behind each piece. Honestly, I prefer to leave that for people to decide. I’m just here to create and tell my story.
Luis David Llomuri:
For me, storytelling goes far beyond telling an imaginary story; it’s about putting a piece of my heart and my own story into every project. It’s my way of expressing myself and showing the world who I am and what the purpose of my life and career is. Each editorial, each image, is an extension of my emotions and my way of seeing beauty. If, in the process, I inspire one or two people, that means much more to me than any recognition. Ultimately, the true impact of art lies in the emotional imprint it leaves.
5. As you reflect on your journey, are there any specific goals or milestones you've set for your artistic career in the coming years?
Kabir Animashaun:
I want to show the world the importance of art and storytelling. It is my responsibility to tell these stories. It is my responsibility to document everything happening in the world right now, and I will. I’ll do it my way, and whether it leaves an impact or not, time will tell.
Luis David Llomuri:
I used to believe that recognition was the most important thing, but over time I realized that it’s only a small part of a career. My true achievement is leaving a mark and becoming an inspiration for future generations, especially for Latin creatives, showing them that we too deserve to be here, and that our voice, our story, and our culture deserve to be heard. My goal is that every project I create not only reflects my vision but also opens doors, sparks creativity, and empowers those who come after me. Because art is not just creation it’s legacy. And that legacy, deep and eternal, is what I want to leave for the world.

EPIPHANY is a revelation of power that emerges from respect, not domination. A reminder that femininity is not fragility, but a force sculpted by resilience and beauty that dares to exist without apology.
Each garment becomes an armor — not to hide, but to honor the magnitude of what inhabits within. Structured, deliberate, and sacred, it evokes authority born from grace, and elegance forged in the quiet fire of self-awareness.
This is the woman as a declaration: imposing yet serene, sensitive yet unbreakable. Her power does not conquer — it transcends.
