Wild Grace

1. What significant life experiences or events have influenced and shaped your artistic vision?
My artistic vision has always revolved around the strength of women, their confidence, and individuality. One of the key moments was meeting the heroine of this shoot — Anastasiia, a permanent makeup artist. Her profession requires a delicate sense of aesthetics and confidence in every movement, and this inspired me to create the “Wild Grace” series. We wanted to showcase natural grace, wild freedom, and the independence of a woman who boldly follows her own path, creates beauty, and isn’t afraid to be herself. This shoot is not just about visuals — it’s about the mood of inner power, connected with nature and its raw, untamed energy.
2. Collaboration often sparks fresh creativity. Can you share an example of a collaboration that led to an unexpected and exciting artistic outcome?
The “Wild Grace” shoot was born out of collaboration, where each of us brought her own energy. Anastasiia, as a permanent makeup artist, suggested using natural makeup with a focus on expressiveness, which enhanced the sense of authenticity in the images. She also contributed to the styling — from the hat to the textures of the clothes. We both wanted the viewer not just to see the outer look, but to feel the atmosphere of freedom, lightness, and strength. Together, we found the perfect location — a ranch with horses, trees, and dusty ground. There, we captured the essence of “wild grace,” where a woman and nature merge into one. The result exceeded expectations: the photographs are not only aesthetically pleasing but emotionally rich.
3. Walk us through a specific project that challenged your creative boundaries. How did you approach it, and what did you learn from the experience?
This project challenged me because I wanted to move beyond the familiar studio environment and work with live elements — nature, animals, and natural light. We shot on a ranch, where horses, dust, and sunlight created a real cowboy atmosphere. The hardest part was capturing not just a pose, but a state — a moment when the model truly felt free. Working in such conditions wasn’t easy, but I realized how important it is to trust the space and the moment. Anastasiia’s calmness and confidence helped maintain the right energy on set. I learned to catch the frame not just visually, but energetically — to reflect the inner feeling of strength, serenity, and beauty.
4. In the ever-evolving art world, what do you believe sets your work apart and makes it unique or groundbreaking?
What sets me apart is my focus on personality. I don’t just create beautiful images — I reveal character and emotion. The “Wild Grace” shoot is a portrait of a woman who’s not afraid to be strong, free, and at the same time, sensual. My model is a professional in the beauty industry, and her understanding of feminine beauty made these images come alive. I merge fashion with real-life stories and emotions, and that makes my work authentic and memorable.
5. As you reflect on your journey, are there any specific goals or milestones you've set for your artistic career in the coming years?
I want to continue working with women who inspire — beauty masters, creatives, strong and genuine personalities. I plan to launch a series of shoots about women professionals in the aesthetics world, to show their inner strength and the feelings they bring to others through fashion imagery. I also want to expand my projects beyond Miami and bring more stories into magazine formats. For me, it’s important that every shoot carries meaning, emotion, and reflects the soul of the person in front of my camera.
