1. What significant life experiences or events have influenced and shaped your artistic vision?

My journey as a human being and soul has shaped my artistic vision. I endured a lot of stuff growing up which blessed me with this intensity that I definitely channel through my work especially with the way I utilize contrast in my images. Since reality was always in my face for most of my life I noticed that I lean naturally within my work towards this rawness that I like to showcase to a certain degree within my images. I could go on and on about this but I think I want to keep it to this for now.

2. Collaboration often sparks fresh creativity. Can you share an example of a collaboration that led to an unexpected and exciting artistic outcome?

As a photographer this editorial is actually the perfect example of how a collaboration led to an unexpected & exciting outcome. Connor is truly a gorgeous person and if it wasn’t for her I don’t think I would have gotten back into photography. Connor is the true definition of a muse. I bought my first macro lens and needed to test it out. Connor and I did a mini shoot and it was super chill. When I took a look at the images I couldn’t help but to notice how gorgeous Connor appeared in them.

3. Walk us through a specific project that challenged your creative boundaries. How did you approach it, and what did you learn from the experience?

A project I did back in 2015 really challenged my creative boundaries. The project was called metamorphosis and I was going through a huge transition within all aspects of my life then. So the project challenged me emotionally. To express things that were very aligned with what I was going through was challenging since I personally like to be detached enough to my project where I don’t get lost in it. I found myself getting lost in these emotional pits doing the project. I stopped the project then but very recently I’ve come back to it from a much different perspective. What I learned from my Metamorphosis project is that sometimes you need to give a project time to unfold itself.

4. In the ever-evolving art world, what do you believe sets your work apart and makes it unique or groundbreaking?

What sets my work apart is the fact that I channel a venerable timeless elegance within my images. I add elements of the contrast you would see within a 1930s image mixed with this potent energy of a 1990s image. This mixture creates a timeless feel within an image. With my analog photography background I’m always very intentional with my images even when I utilize a digital camera which is rare nowadays to see within a photographer. All the images I produce are always cool tone even if they have a warm overtone to it. I always make sure my images have a cool undertone to it.

5. As you reflect on your journey, are there any specific goals or milestones you've set for your artistic career in the coming years?

Since I was 15 years old I’ve always dreamt of my photographic work being showcased in galleries. I’m kind of an old soul in that sense. I love to create projects that move and get individuals thinking. Other milestones that I have are within the Fashion Industry, not too much in it. I would love some of my images to be on the covers of some big known magazines. I am very interested in photographing for movie posters. I was always in love with cinematic photography.

6. How did you discover Mob and what made you choose us? <3

I discovered Mob through an agent of mine who absolutely loved your work. I dug deeper into your magazine and had a realization that our work was in alignment with each other. I wanted to get my work published with you guys and finally submitted.
