  Hidden Truth investigates how power conceals violence beneath spectacle. Drawing from historical episodes like the witch trials, the death of Socrates, and Queen Elizabeth I’s iconic “eyes” dress, the collection explores how those in power manipulate truth and sacrifice the vulnerable. Through gilded embroidery, symbolic embellishments, and textiles altered to suggest blood and decay, each garment confronts the tension between beauty and brutality. What glitters may dazzle, but it also distorts—and hides the cost of control.
