Within the framework of specialized design practice, we had the opportunity to explore and implement innovative pattern-cutting techniques, such as Subtraction Cutting, Zero Waste Cutting, and TR Cutting. My personal garment design drew significant inspiration from the work of Rei Kawakubo, whose approach consciously challenges conventional beauty standards and whose garments embody a sculptural, avant-garde aesthetic. Starting from the human form, I developed a novel pattern-cutting structure, supported by Clo 3D design software, which allowed me to efficiently experiment and visualize the shape digitally. Beyond the 3D-rendered images and virtual simulations, the garment was also realized as a physical, finished piece.
